Behind The Badge, Who We Are: Community Services Officer Andrea Gonzalez

Community Services Officer Andrea Gonzalez joined the Winters Police Department as a Cadet in 2017. She was promoted to Cadet Sergeant in 2018 and was promoted to Cadet Lieutenant in 2019. CSO Gonzalez graduated from Winters High School in May of 2019 as Salutatorian and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies at Sonoma State University. She hopes to graduate from SSU in 2022.

She chose to work in law enforcement after realizing she enjoyed helping the community in the Cadet program and wanted to make that her career.

VineLink (Victim Information and Notification Everyday) - (This service allows crime victims to obtain timely and reliable information about criminal cases and the custody status of offenders 24 hours a day through participating agencies)
Yolo County Victim Services Program - (This service is dedicated to providing comprehensive services to victims of violent crime, provide information about the criminal justice system and advocate for the rights of victims of violent crime.)
