  • Administration of the City's risk management program
  • Conducting and administering the City's recruitment and selection program
  • Development, administration, and fulfillment of citywide training programs
  • City compliance with applicable labor, benefit, medical, and safety laws and regulations
  • Oversight of the city's classification, compensation system, and  employee benefits administration
