Expired or empty fire extinguishers can be disposed of at the Yolo County Landfill through Household Hazardous Waste Collection. Further contact information can be found on the Yolo County Household Hazardous Waste Collection accepted items flyer or you can dispose of fire extinguishers at a Fire Protection Equipment supply company of your choice.

Senior & Disabled Pickup: Free curbside HHW pickup for seniors (65+) and disabled Yolo County residents. Call Yolo County Landfill at (530) 666-8856 to schedule a pickup.
